Continuing the Tradition
- Private Christian School (Interdenominational)
- Founded in 1969 under the direction of the Orcutt Baptist Church
School Board
- Member of Southern Baptist Association of Christian Schools
- We are a regional elementary school primarily servicing Newport
News, York County, and the surrounding locales.
- Our mission is to provide quality, Christian education and childcare
services as an outreach ministry to the community.
- All preschool and daycare programs are fully accredited and
licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services.
- Over 200 students enrolled - Pre K-3 through 5th grade
- School Calendar: Classes typically begin the day after Labor
Day and end in mid-June (180 school days)
- Hours of Operation:
- Graders and Kindergartners attend school from 8:15 a.m.
to 2:45 p.m.
- Pre-K attends from 8:15 to 11:45 a.m.
